What is SIP
SIP stands for Structual Insulated Panels. It is a foam base insulation with an OSB sheathing on each side. The SIP construction to the right is 6-5/8th inches thick with an R-value of about 25. SIP thickness can ranges from 4 inches to 12 inches. For this custom build PorterSIP panels are used.
